As most of you have probably already heard, Chile had two large earthquakes on April 1 near Iquique in the northern part of the country. The first one was an 8.2 and the second a 7.8.
Luckily there was very little damage, as the quakes happened off the Chilean coast. Tsunami advisories of a possible Tsunami were dropped. The rest of Chile, from the Atacama Desert down to Patagonia has been unaffected by these quakes.
