Opening dates for the South American ski season have been set!
This season is off to a good start with early snowfalls in May. Cold temperatures have allowed snow-making teams to set down a great base. Our South American ski resorts are primed and ready to go.
Looking ahead, there is a major cold front pushing into the Andes Mountains of Argentina and Chile this Saturday (June 9, 2018). The storm looks like a big one and could continue through Tuesday (June 12)!! At the moment storm predictions are looking quite good, with 3-4+ feet of fresh powder! This will really kick off the season with a bang, so stay tuned to updated snow totals the first part of next week.
